Microblading
Microblading is a way of implanting pigment under the epidermis using a specially designed tiny blade which leaves thin realistic hair strokes for the most natural finish. With this method Marie can create almost any look, from a very natural light finish or a beautifully bold brow. This technique is a process that can be used to improve or create eyebrow definition. It can also cover gaps in the brow that have came through hair loss or to extend the eyebrows. For those with practically no eyebrow, it may be used as a full reconstruction or the brow. Sparse or missing brows can be completely restored.

Together we design a brow which is entirely tailored to you – your colour will be mixed from the highest quality pigments just for you. When using the hand held microblade, the colour is deposited closer to the surface than when a machine is used leaving very fine and crisp hair strokes with no spilling under the skin. This look is very different to micropigmentation which will leave you with an almost solid block of colour. Our technique gives you individual hair strokes and beautiful brows that you will no longer have to draw on.
The treatment begins with developing the desired shape, then each microblading stroke is applied individually, allowing us control of the shape, colour and density of the completed eyebrows. The color choice is client specific and is mixed using a selection of premium quality semi-permanent micro-pigments to complement your hair colour and skin tone.
Varying shades of micro-pigments react differently with each skin type and fade accordingly, depending on skin regimen, sun exposure, environmental and after care precautions. Immediately post treatment, eyebrows will appear darker than expected, but will fade 50% during the healing process over the following 2 weeks. The 2nd application 6 weeks later includes a touch up to ensure micro-pigments are healing properly and responding well.
Microblading, although semi-permanent, lasts between 12 - 24 months if proper aftercare instructions are maintained. The treatment is a 2 step application process, the initial appointment includes consultation and initial application, the second appointment is 4 - 6 weeks to touch up and ensure longevity of the colours used.
